1. Scope

These terms of use apply to the use of the iOS app "ContactKeeper" (hereinafter "App") by Martin Rost (hereinafter "Provider"). By installing and using the App, you agree to these terms.

2. Service description

ContactKeeper enables managing, exporting, importing and backing up contact data on iOS devices. The app offers:

Export contacts in CSV, vCard and JSON
Import contacts from CSV, vCard and JSON
Group management (Premium)
Duplicate detection and merging (Premium)

3. Free and Premium version

The app is available in a free basic version. Extended features can be unlocked through a one-time in-app purchase (Premium Lifetime). This is a one-time purchase — not a subscription.

4. Responsibility for contact data

You are solely responsible for the contact data you export, import or otherwise process with the App. The Provider assumes no liability for:

Loss of contact data through export/import operations
Sharing exported files with third parties
Incorrect or incomplete contact data
Data loss due to device changes or operating system updates

We recommend creating a backup of your contacts before major import operations.

5. Intellectual property

All rights to the App, including design, code and content, remain with the Provider. The App may not be copied, modified or redistributed.

6. Limitation of liability

The Provider is not liable for damages arising from the use of the App, to the extent permitted by law. The App is provided "as is".

7. Changes

The Provider reserves the right to change these terms of use at any time. Changes will be announced in the App or on this website.
